You are two months old today! It's so hard to believe that nearly 9 weeks have gone by since you arrived. This has been such an eventful month! You have grown so much this month and we have certainly been busy! You have fallen in love with lights this month. You love to stare at them every where you go. You also love the car and going out with me to run errands. This month, we started a fun music class that you adore. You loved listening to the teacher play her guitar and you met some friends who I hope you'll enjoy playing with in the future! You have had many more happy awake moments in the last week and we are loving it! You love to read books, play on your play mat, and dance around with your mom. You also started smiling this month! You still love to be swaddled... it's one of the best ways we calm you down. You also discovered Mommy's blow dryer and you love to listen to Michael Buble when you are cranky.
Speaking of cranky... you have been so miserable this month and we think we have finally figured out why. You have a bad case of reflux and a possible milk intolerance. We have started new medicines and put you on a special formula and we pray you start feeling better really soon. We bought you a new place to sleep in and you love it. It's an elevated cradle and you seem to be much happier in there. Although, you still only sleep for about 30 minutes at a time during the day (unless you are on Mommy.. then you will sleep longer!) At night, you've been giving us one 4-5 hour stretch... and then you're usually up moaning and groaning the rest of the night. You eat about every three hours right now and you are growing fast! You are wearing mostly three month clothes right now, but the six month ones aren't that big on you! We have your two month check up on Wednesday, so we'll find out your official stats then.
Cam, you have no idea how much you are loved. We have already been through so much together, and it just breaks our hearts to watch you when you are uncomfortable. We hope this next month is one of peace and happiness for you. We love you, Mr. Fussy Pants!
