Standing on his own. He's getting pretty darn steady on his feet and will read a book, play with toys, etc while standing. He bottoms out as soon as he loses balance or wants to move, so we're not quite near walking just yet. And, just like the pre-crawling phase... I'm okay with waiting.
Babbling machine! He's got some words (dada, wa wa, doh (dog?), baba). Some of which have meaning, some don't. But he talks all day long.
We're both recovering from a nasty diaper rash.
He's on a milk strike. Refuses to touch milk since we took away the bottle and formula. Since he's not filling up on milk, he's eating like a horse. Seriously considering starting to do my grocery shopping at Costco.

| He teased me and drank it for a second one day. Then laughed in my face. |
His bottom tooth finally popped through this week, and now he has a total of seven teeth. A break in teething hell means he's been sleeping a lot better (two days of sleeping in past 7:30 am!) and much less cranky during the day.
Giving kisses. He will put his mouth on me or stuffed animals if I say give a kiss. He does not like to perform, so it's hard to get him to do it consistently, but yesterday when Emerson was over at our house playing, he gave her a kiss and she gave one back. So stinking cute.
Climbing. Onto everything. Stairs, boxes, chairs. He doesn't know how to get down yet, so that's been fun.
We are ready for a month at home for the holidays! All our shopping is done, the house is decorated, and this little guy is ready to celebrate his second Hanukkah (though his first where he'll be awake for the celebrations!)
And that's what he's up to!
